My Soul told me

Things were going up and down

we were loosing people on the ground

human’s were running to save their family

running scared and wiping tears

my friends lost many dear ones

we failed to console them anymore

words barely won’t heal them

sitting helpless and staring at phones

we might get up tomorrow

and there will be no more ambulance’s siren

we might get up tomorrow

and there will be no news of death

hoping and praying for better tomorrow

here i sit by bed

helpless and guilty.
