A Tale of Social Attacks

I never had a distaste for people

But now I keep a distance

No, I was not born an introvert

These people made me one

Cause they simplify everything around them

By just tagging or by giving a name.

Oh I know that you know

What I am talking about

I am deep into this shit

And I am sure you too are not spared off!

 

So let’s roll the dice!

You walk that road they look at you

They talk among themselves

And you know they talk about you

And yes you are judged!

 

You wore that high rise jeans

Which shaped your bottom

And see their eyebrow raised

You are named “a slut”.

 

You are in metro listening to your playlist

You won’t bother them

They see your playlist

And they say you are shady

Cause you listen to Billie Eilish

 

 

I dress up casually

Jeans, a pair of shoes and a hoodie

I feel great

But my fellow mate said ‘cause she is into girls’

Well I congratulate you

For knowing my sexuality before I could do

 

 

I never get why everything on this earth is objectified

Like why the hell everything is named

I have been told “Oh you don’t have boyfriend, you must be a gay”

I mean “dude I never told you are a slut because you have a boyfriend”!

Why and why it’s needed to judge a person?

It’s hard and it hurts

And it drowns you so deep

That you stop loving yourself

 

But let me tell you one thing

These people will judge

And let them do

Cause you have no time to waste

There is the whole life awaits

You to take the first step

The future is beautiful that I assure

But make your present stairs full of rose

The essence of it will keep you alive

And petals beneath you will always remind

That you are beautiful and yes you deserve

A friendship, a love, a career and etc.

So let them talk whatever they want

You just walk forward and please don’t stop

 

Look around, the world is sinking

If you can then please spread love.

And stop these social attacks on personality and sexuality PERIOD.
